My annual list of digital April Fools Day Pranks. These are my favorite pranks that are tried and tested on my friends (some are former friends).
Scotch tape the bottom of their computer mouse. It’ll keep it from moving the cursor.
Exchange their mouse for another then use their mouse when they sit at the computer.
Right click anywhere on their desktop and uncheck “show desktop icons”. The screen will be blank.
Under themes (on a pc) click on mouse settings. Slow it down to a crawl and add pointer trails.
On their Facebook page, click on the padlock at the top right of the screen, then language. Change the language from English. I suggest Leet Speak which only exchanges some letters with numbers. Or, change it to English Upside Down.
Set an alarm with a song from their playlist. Or, if you can, download an alarm clock app that requires the user to take a selfie to turn it off. I suggest, if you want to be very cruel, download “Walk Up Alarm Clock”. The alarm is of a woman screaming and the only way to turn it off is to take steps. Of course, they won’t know that’s how you turn it off.
